◎Key Features

  • Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) is one of the European Union’s flagship programmes under Erasmus+. These internationally recognised master’s programmes are jointly developed, designed, and delivered by a consortium of higher education institutions across Europe.
  • Each EMJM programme is offered by a consortium of at least three higher education institutions from three different countries. Depending on the programme, students may undertake coursework, research, internships, master’s thesis preparation, and thesis defence in multiple countries. Programme durations vary and are typically 12, 18, or 24 months, corresponding to 60, 90, or 120 ECTS credits.
  • Applications are generally open from October to January each year, with successful applicants beginning their studies in the following academic year.   • Applicants who are offered an admission to an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EMJM) programme as a reserve candidate or self-funded student (i.e. without an EMJM scholarship) may also apply for the Ministry of Education (MOE) European Union Scholarship, offered by the Republic of China (Taiwan).

    • Scholarship amount: US$16,000 per year for up to two years
    • Number of awards: Up to 20 scholarships each year (subject to the number of applications received and the results of the selection process)
