Call for Papers | 2025 Taiwan–Czech Academic Forum & Student Paper Presentation (NTU Students Only)
To deepen academic cooperation between Taiwan and Charles University (Czech Republic) and to enhance student engagement with the shifting dynamics of global geopolitics and multipolarity, the EU Centre in Taiwan will co-host the Taiwan–Czech Academic Forum & Student Paper Presentation with Charles University on 20 November 2025, Thursday in Prague. This forum serves as the pre-event to Charles University’s annual geopolitical conference, “Geopolitical Implications of Multipolar Global Order” (held on 21st November), and is supported by the Taiwan–Czech University Alliance through the “Talent Cultivation and Exchange Program on Geopolitics and Economic Security.” 1. Theme Submissions should broadly relate to multipolar global order and geopolitical developments. Topics may include (but are not limited to): Theories and practices of a multipolar world order Strategic interaction between Europe and the Indo-Pacific Small and middle powers in a multipolar system The impact of technology, energy, and cybersecurity on geopolitics International organizations and the reshaping of normative power 2.  Eligibility Open to NTU students in their 3rd year and above (priority given to political science students). 2 presenters will be selected, with 1 alternate. Travel (round-trip economy airfare) and accommodation will be fully funded for selected presenters. 3.
