The fifth 2016 EUTW Forum " The Brexit and Its Impacts on the European Integration” was hosted by European Union Centre in Taiwan; European Module, Jean Monnet Action, National Chengchi University; National Central Library. The forum was moderated by Prof. Chang, Tai-Lin, Professor of the Department of European Languages and Cultures NCCU, Program Director of Jean Monnet Action. Prof. Yeh, Kuo-Chun of Graduate Institute of National Development, National Taiwan University discussed the recent Brexit referendum and its impact on the EU and Euro zone economy; Chang, Chia-Pin, Associate Professor of Department of German, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, addressed the challenges on EU diplomatic, security and defense Policies from Brexit. Prof. Chang also reviewed with the guests about ways to deal with the current EU issues with Britain exiting EU and had a discussion with the former Director-General of European Affairs, Ambassador Chiu, Jong-Jen and former representatives in France Michel Ching-long Lu.

EUTW Internship Program for European students in Taiwan is now open
The application period for the EUTW Internship Program is now open. The application deadline is Sep 17, 2016. A short CV must be submitted on or before the application deadline to ntueutw@ntu.edu.tw
Unpaid internships, with 3-6 months duration, at least two half days office hours at Centre. Interview with European Representative, Dialogue with EU club, Facebook updates, and supporting EUTW events will be the main assignment. Please note that EUTW will not help to apply Work permit/ARC.
