Organized by Wallonie-Bruxelles International, and co-organized by Centre Belge de la Bande Dessinée, the classic comic exhibition was first on display at the 2013 Taipei International Book Fair with Belgium as the theme country. Through these comics, the exhibition allowed the audience to recognize or rediscover the works of over sixty Belgian comic artists from Wallonia-Brussels across the ages. Belgian Office, Taipei and Wallonie-Bruxelles International will continue this rare exhibition specifically in three locations outside of Taipei:
April 6th to April 21st at New Taipei City Youth Library in Xindian: www.tphcc.gov.tw
April 27th to May 12th National Public Library of Information at Taichung –: www.nlpi.edu.tw
May 22nd to June 11th at European Union Centre at National Sun Yat-Sen University in Kaohsiung: europa.oia.nsysu.edu.tw
Taiwanese people will be able to further understand the rich and creative classic art styles of Belgium, and perhaps even be inspired of unprecedented explorations or French learning!
