113 Academic Year “European and EU Studies Program” is now open for 2nd semester applications. Please refer to the information below or consult the announcement board from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures. 1. Application Period: 1st January – 31st May 2025 2. Application Venue: Office of Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures 3. Eligibility Requirements: A. European Language Specialization / B. Multilingual European Language Track
Applicants must have passed the second semester of an advanced European language course (i.e., Level III, 2nd Semester), or be currently enrolled in one of these courses at the time of application.
※ Students who have not taken the above courses but have obtained a B1 or equivalent level in a European language proficiency test (certified by a Taiwanese or foreign institution) must submit the original and a copy of the certificate. The original will be returned after verification by the program office. C. EU Studies Track
Applicants must have passed at least one introductory course (see prerequisites), or be currently enrolled in one such course at the time of application.
※ Students who have completed equivalent courses at other institutions must submit a transcript along with their application. 4. Application Procedure: Log in to myNTU and submit an online application for the program. After submitting the application, print the application form and attach a copy of your full academic transcript
(※If currently enrolled in a prerequisite course, also include a copy of your course registration record) Obtain approval from your head of department (or institute director), and submit the form and documents to the program officebetween 1st January and 31st May. The second part of the lecture will feature alumni sharing their study abroad experiences.   Topic: [United Kingdom • Spain • Germany] Daily Life of Studying in an Erasmus EU Joint Master's Program The alumni speaker will share experiences from studying in Europe, covering learning differences between the environments in the UK, Spain, and Germany. Topics will include various teaching styles of professors at different universities, the approach to elective and compulsory courses, and information on school resources. Additionally, advice will be provided on how to find the right academic advisor. In terms of daily life, the speaker will discuss housing, visas, moving luggage, and various aspects of living, such as food, clothing, and transportation. There will also be tips on how to save money as an international student and discounts offered by the EU. The speaker will guide participants in evaluating whether a joint Master's program in the EU is right for them and share potential career paths and planning for the future. This event is open to students, young people, and the general public interested in studying in Europe or EU-related topics.   Participation Details: Pre-registration is required. If pre-registration has closed, on-site registration is also welcome.   Doors will open for pre-registered participants at 13:40 on the event day.
