I. Purpose
The Ministry of Education (MOE) has established the MOE European Union Scholarship to encourage outstanding Taiwanese students to pursue Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programmes under the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Commission.
The scholarship aims to support students in developing international perspectives, expanding global engagement, and strengthening Taiwan’s overall competitiveness.
II. Scholarship Amount and Duration
Recipients will be awarded US$16,000 per year for a maximum period of two years.
III. Number of Awards
A total of 20 scholarships will be awarded, subject to the number of applications received and the results of the review process.
IV. Eligibility
Applicants must hold either: reserve candidate status, or self-funded student status for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Scholarship under the European Commission's Erasmus+ Programme for the 2026–2027 academic year.
