The Erasmus+ Joint Master’s Degree Program offers students the opportunity to study, intern, or receive professional training across multiple European higher education institutions. Through exposure to diverse cultures and educational systems, students develop strong intercultural communication skills and gain practical, cross-border academic experiences. Graduates receive a joint degree awarded by multiple universities across different countries.

This event features Shih-Heng Chen, an alumnus of the European Master in Tourism Management (EMTM), who studied across Denmark, Slovenia, and Spain under the prestigious Erasmus+ Joint Master’s Degree Program.

Event Highlights:

Part I – Program Introduction by Mr. Marc Chia-Ching Cheng
(Executive Director, EU Centre in Taiwan, National Focal Point Coordinator for the Erasmus+ Programme in Taiwan)
Mr. Cheng will introduce the Erasmus+ program, application requirements for EU scholarships supported by the Ministry of Education, and provide a brief overview of EU institutions in Taiwan.

Part II – Firsthand Study Abroad Experience by Mr. Shih-Heng Chen
An authentic, uncensored account of life as an Erasmus+ student: from academic challenges to cultural surprises, this session provides genuine insights beyond the usual polished brochure talk.
