Applications guide for Sun Yat-sen France Scholarship

This scholarship is offered by the Foundation de France

• Quota of Scholarship: 3 people
• Duration of scholarship: June 2022 - May 2023
• Award amount: 30,000 NTD maximum (for round-trip air ticket in economy class only)

Qualifications:

• NTU students Only

Priority consideration will be given to students who have met the following qualifications:

1. Have participated in ESSCA Summer Programs before
2. Obtained certificate in European and EU Studies Program
3. Successfully completed three or more courses offered by European and EU Studies Program with excellent grades are preferred.
4. With certificates of proficiency in the French language.
5. Have not received any other scholarships

All scholarship application documents must be submitted in electronic format. When converting paper documents to electronic files, please scan them clearly and do not use photography. Paper applications will not be accepted. The application form can be downloaded from the website of European Union Centre in Taiwan (EUTW) (www.eutw.org.tw).

Selection procedureFirst stage

• All documents should be sent to Office of International Affairs, National Taiwan University before 5 August 2022. The email subject should be "Application for the Sun Yat-sen France Scholarship.

Second stage

• Applicants who meet the application requirements will be evaluated by review committee members selected by EUTW before August 15 2022

Standard of evaluation

• Document review: 50%
• Interview: 50%
• Announcement date of selection results

Important Information for Successful Applicants

• Scholarship Recipients should attend briefing session held by European Union Centre in Taiwan, and also have duty to answer the question about study in France
• Once the scholarship recipients have settled down in France, please inform European Union Centre in Taiwan with contact information proactively, we will inform the scholarship provider as follow-up contact information.
• Send your study results and experience report to the center’s e-mail within one month after completing your studies and returning to Taiwan.
