Call for Papers for the 13th National Graduate Student Workshop on EU Studies

Introduction of the Event

To promote the studies of Europe and the European Union (EU) in Taiwan, EUTW began co-organising the National Graduate Student Workshop on EU Studies with Taiwanese universities in 2011. This year, the 13th National Graduate Student Workshop on EU Studies will be co-organised with the EU Centre of Excellence, NTU. In addition to graduate students, this time, we also welcome undergraduate students interested in the studies of Europe and the EU to submit their papers to us. Any essays about Europe or the EU could be submitted. We encourage the participation of graduate (including master's or doctoral) and undergraduate students with Taiwanese nationality or those formally registered at Taiwanese universities.

Ways to Sign Up

• Please finish the registration form before 31 March, 2023 (Friday). We will send you an email confirming your registration. If you do not receive such an email after registration, contact us through the following email address: ntueutw@ntu.edu.tw. (Contact Person: Po-Chih Lee)
• We do not accept papers already published or co-authored with faculty members.
• Those who wish to sign up for the poster session should send us the topic and an introduction within 300 words. There is no need to send a résumé or keywords.

The Submission of the Papers

• Experts and scholars will review the submitted résumé. We will announce which essays are accepted for presentation on the website of EUTW and its Facebook Fan page on 7 April (Friday). The results will also be informed by email.
• The full text of the papers shall be submitted before 17:00, 19 May. The length of them should not exceed 20 pages.

The Submission of the Posters

• Format of the Posters: A1 Paper Size
• Poster Content:

1. Title, research supervisor, participants, photo, system structure diagram, characteristics…etc.
2. Please submit your PPT or PDF file before 17:00, 22 May (Monday).
3. Please print your poster and bring it to the workshop yourself.

Reward

We provide certificates at the request of participants. We also offer a certificate of merit and 3000 NTD for each Best Essay Winner. One winner would be selected in each session.
