The Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office will debut the "Europe in Italian Illustrations" exhibition in Taiwan from 6 to 15 May, 2023. The exhibition's first venue will be at the Historical Archives of National Taiwan University, featuring 16 illustrations by renowned Italian artists along with explanatory notes.
Commissioned by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, this exhibition draws inspiration from the 1957 Treaty of Rome and the well-known "Ventotene Manifesto," advocating for a "Europe of freedom and unity." It aims to celebrate Europe Day on 9 May through this showcase.
On 6-7 May, during the European Festival at Huashan Grassland, the Italian Economic, Trade and Cultural Promotion Office booth will feature two illustrations from the exhibition for a sneak peek. Visitors can also expect exquisite postcards available on-site. Join us in celebrating Europe Day—are you ready?
