To promote and deepen research on the European Union, the European Union Centre in Taiwan signed an agreement with NTU Press in August 2009 to jointly publish a high academic standard book series on EU studies in Taiwan. Professor Pao Tsung-ho, the first series editor and succeeded by Director General of EUTW, Professor Su Hungdah in early 2011. The initiative seeks to consolidate the expertise of leading EU researchers nationwide, with the ambitious goal of publishing two books annually and eight books within a four-year span. Each publication is meticulously vetted through public workshops and anonymous peer reviews before release. The series is designed to cater not only to Taiwanese readers but also to scholars and students from Mainland China and the global Chinese intellectual community. Furthermore, content presented at forums and seminars will be made accessible on the website, ensuring a broader reach and impact.
